AITCHISON COLLEGE IS A NATIONAL SCHOOL

The most significant developments in Aitchison's history have usually accompanied growth in our admissions. From being a small school for only the privileged, we have evolved into a truly nationally representative educator. Our mix of boarding and day scholars promotes inclusion and a strong sense of national identity, and all the marvelous attributes this brings. We purposely seek to encourage applications for boarding outside the Punjab. Our fees are comparable to the main private schools charging in rupees monthly, and far less than one might imagine for one of the best resourced schools in Asia.  

Our traditions remain strong and our general discipline is renowned. Top universities identify the word 'rigour' with our name.  Boys are expected to model the very best standards in behaviour within an industrious, competitive, creative, compassionate and cohesive community. We push boys academically and encourage them to think beyond grades. We make dress and small disciplines important, as are manners and bearing. We educate our boys to be confident and ready for the world stage, which is evidenced in outstanding overseas admissions and remarkable achievements in numerous International events and competitions. Our top sportsmen are prominent in their individual sports, many being national representatives. From learning to ride a horse to enjoying sports in school and house teams, debating, acting on stage or engaging in any of 22 societies, our boys can be what they enjoy being. And there are numerous ways in which each can practise leadership. 

Aitchison is a very special school, blessed with a 200 acre campus in Lahore. It still contains giant stands of trees and dirt walking and jogging tracks, in a setting of nationally significant buildings and 21st century facilities. We have continued to invest in our boys' opportunities through school initiatives and Old Boy donations.  It is fair to say that Aitchison fuses tradition with cutting edge innovation.
