Aitchison to welcome exceptional new Senior Library 2022
The existing Administration building is soon to be transformed into a superbly designed modern library by architect Faheem Ahsan Jamil, made possible through the continued generosity of Syed Babar Ali. This much needed development will complement the AJ Innovation Centre and Quadrangle, providing senior boys with the best learning and research facilities in a Pakistan school. The new library will also include a cafeteria facing onto the existing bus depot that will be relocated and transformed into gardens. The existing Sunderdas carapark will be doubled in size.
Work on the library is expected to commence around May, after the original Babar Ali Library is converted into a new College Administration building that will see the relocation of the Boardroom, Accounts, Enquiries and Human Resources. The Principal's office will remain as it is currently positioned. This building will also offer additional meeting rooms and a groundbreaking teacher training facility.
