PCB Round 1 U 16 Championship - Aitchison Wins

Ali Badshah shone with an unbeaten 103 as Aitchison asserted its dominance to reach 1 for 197 in its second innings in the PCB match. Faham Ul Haq scored a cruial first innings 80 and Muhammad Ammar Qaiyum bagged 5 wickets in a thrilling win over a talented Crescent Model School. The team showed great character to win a tight match with every boy playing his part.

Aitchison secured a remarkable win against the odds. Defending only 165 all looked lost with our excellent opponents 2 for 152 with plenty of overs remaining. Our bowlers led by Muneeb Wasif (5 for 25) and Asad Pasha 2 for 7 fought back dismissing their opponents for 161. Faham Ul Haq 70 and Altamash Abbas 57 laid a solid foundation with a superb century partnership.
