History Enlivened by Night
On Saturday, February 15th, 2025, thirty-three K6 and forty-eight E2 boys of the Prep School, Saigol House went on an educational trip to the Walled City, Lahore. The tour was organised by Prep School, Pakistan Studies Department. Teachers and the House staff accompanied the boys. It was a unique opportunity for our students, as they got a chance to witness historic events dramatised and enlivened through beautiful performances. Standing among the iconic buildings like the ‘Baradari’, the ‘Shahi Qila’, and the’ Badhshahi’ Masjid, boys seemed to have been transported to the realm of the past. Classical live music and folk dance performances were amazing. An excellent guide explained different historical events quite lucidly. The boys savoured dinner in the exquisite Haveli Restaurant. It was indeed an evening not to be forgotten.
