Passing of Shahzad Husain

With profound grief and sorrow we announce the passing away of Shahzad Husain on Tuesday, 12th March, 2024 after a protracted illness. He was born on March 3, 1934 in Dehli and studied at Aitchison College from 1948 to 1953. Mr. Shahzad as Jinnah House Prefect was the Captain of the College Cricket, Hockey and Athletic teams as well as the Hockey and Cricket Colour Holder. He was the only recipient of the Full College Blazer in 1951 who equaled the record set by Nazar Muhammad in 1947 in the 100 Meters sprint in 1953. He was awarded General Umar Hayat Tiwana Gold Medal and The Nawab Ashiq Hussain Qureshi Challenge Cup 1952. He was the recipient of Kelly House Silver Medal 1953. He was the Director of Leaf and Green Leaf Threshing and known as a humble, kind hearted person among his friends and family.
