Old Boy and former MPA Sardar Omer Khan Leghari passed away on Tuesday 12th April, 2022 in Lahore. He was eighty eight years old. Omer Khan attended Aitchison College from 1943 to 1950, and was Godleyite. He was a national level cyclist as well as an old car enthusiast and owned many priceless antique cars. Belonging to an influential political family, he was an Ex-Vice Chairman of Rajanpur District council, member of Provincial Council of The Punjab in 1980 and 1983, and was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab in 1985 and 1988. Omer was the first cousin of Ex-President Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari.

May Allah rest his soul in peace and grant him the highest place in Jannah.
