ACOBA (Aitchison College Old Boys’ Association) clinched a close win by four runs at their annual cricket match against the College team on Sunday.
Aitchison College won the toss and chose to ball first. After 40 overs, ACOBA had made a score of 188 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. The College team could only manage 184 runs with 7 wickets down; losing the game by 4 runs.
The teams bonded over refreshment after the match and the Old Boys appreciated the College Team’s performance.
Principal Aitchison College Mr. Michael Alister Thomson was also present on the occasion. He congratulated the winners and commended the students for giving tough competition to the opposing team.
The Cricket Fixture is annually organized by ACOBA (Aitchison College Old Boys Association) in collaboration with the College administration and sports staff.
