Alumni Reunion at Aitchison College

Aitchison College organized a reunion for its 2001-2005 graduating batches on Sunday 15th January, 2017. Eighty Old Aitchisonians attended the event along with some staff members who had taught these batches. College Principal Mr. Michael Thomson, President ACOBA Mr. Shahjahan Ayub and General Secretary ACOBA Mr. Hur Riahi Gardezi were also present on the occasion.
College Principal Michael Thomson welcomed the Old Boys to their alma mater. He shared with them his vision for the College and informed them about recent developments. Mr. Shahjahan Ayub spoke about ACOBA’s contribution to the College and encouraged the boys to show their support, particularly for the conservation and preservation of the Old Building. Old Boy Usman Akram Sahi, former College Prefect from the batch of 2002 also spoke at the event.
After the speeches, the Old Boys enjoyed their favourite snacks from the Dean’s stalls set up at the venue. The boys were delighted to meet their old teachers and reminisced with them about the good times they had spent at Aitchison. A few of them also had some sports fun playing football and cricket.
Lastly, the Old Boys were given a tour of the College. They were shown the newly renovated Rab Pavilion, as well as the ACOBA Cricket Academy.
